Tom Mulwa is a B.Comm Alumni of University of Nairobi, Post Graduate (MBA University of Leicester UK) and a Global Risk Management Institute, Inc. RIMS Fellow (RF).

Tom Mulwa joined LIAISON GROUP on 31st October 1991. He joined the Board of Directors on 23rd April 1999 and immediately appointed CEO and Group Managing Director on 28th April 1999. Liaison Group (I.B) Ltd is an Independent Pan-African Non-Banking Financial Services Organization specialized in Risk & Insurance, Healthcare, Pension & Investment Advisory.

Tom holds leadership positions in several economic and social enterprises across Africa and is a renowned entrepreneur.

On 30th November 2022, His Excellency Hon.William Samoei Ruto,PhD.,C.G.H.The President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces appointed Mr. Tom Mulwa among other eminent Kenyans to the National Investment Council for a period of 3 years.

Tom Mulwa is an adept Golfer and Past Chairman of Karen Country Club, he is also involved in the activities of KEPSA(Kenya Private Sector Association) and also active at  East-Africa Business Council
